Important: we are a referral and matching service. When you submit a request through southbaypestpros.com, you are matched with an independent, licensed Provider who performs the actual pest control service. We are not the company that enters your home or performs treatment.

When you submit a request for service, we collect:

• Email address (if provided)
• ZIP code / service address
• Pest type and details about your request
• Any additional information you choose to share in the request form

We also automatically collect limited technical information (IP address, browser type, pages visited) for security, fraud prevention, and analytics purposes.

2. How we use your information

We use the information you provide to:

• Match you with an appropriate, licensed Provider in your area
• Share your request details and contact information with the matched Provider(s) so they can contact you about your service request
• Verify your submission is legitimate (including automated bot-protection checks)
• Improve our matching process and service quality
• Communicate with you about your request

3. Who we share information with

• Matched Providers: the independent pest control company matched to your request receives your name, contact information, and request details so they can reach out and schedule service.
• Service providers who support our platform: we use third-party services for hosting, data storage, and bot protection (currently Supabase, Railway, and Cloudflare) that process data on our behalf under their own security safeguards.
• We do not sell your personal information to third parties for their own marketing purposes.

4. Consent to be contacted

By submitting a request, you consent to being contacted by us and/or your matched Provider regarding your request, by phone, text, or email. If you separately opt in to automated or pre-recorded contact, that consent is recorded independently and is not required to use our service.

You may withdraw consent to further contact at any time by contacting us at [email protected] or by telling the Provider directly.

5. Your rights (California residents)

If you are a California resident, you have the right to:

• Know what personal information we have collected about you
• Request deletion of your personal information
• Opt out of the sale or sharing of your personal information (we do not sell personal information)
